My new thread starts here picking horses with no gimmicks. I did this before and failed miserably. But that was 2 years ago and Ithink I have grown smarter. This thread has nothing to do with the last thread. I will try to pick one horse betting it to PLACE or SHOW.
Some races I may have to see the odds to make my final verdict. My goal is to double up on the race. If I take the favorite it will be Place for sure.
Let us begin.
Aqueduct 6th race
#3 WAR STOPPER 7/2 Castellano rode him last time and won convincingly on a sloppy track for his only ride together. This horse had plenty
of energy to spare at the finish line. I will give the rider the benefit of the doubt it wasn't the slop. Like to see the odds before the verdict.
Laurel Park 8th race
#7 INDIAN LAKE 3/1 Horses 3 races at Laurel 1-2-0. This horse may be the favorite but lets wait to see the odds.
Woodbine 6th race
#9 SANDY BAY 6/1 This jockey has been on this horse million times so he knows every little thing about this horse. Post position
doesn't seem to be a problem. Odds are intriguing. Once again lets wait and see.
Churchill 8th race
#1 LOFTHOUSE 8/1 His last race only puts him third in this field. Positive jockey change to Lanerie only helps. Even third I should double up.
